King Feed & Supply is a family owned business that was started in December of 1948. At that time the business operated under the name of Farmers Supply. On May 19, 1962 the business suffered tragedy when a fire destroyed our facilities. The irony of this disaster is that May 19th was Loren S. King's birthdate. Loren S. King was the founder of this business.
The building that was destroyed by fire was the first building built in the town of West Liberty, Ohio. In 1816 John Enoch built the original Mill to grind grain for the pioneers and to trade with the Indians.
In 1963 the business was relocated at the current location. In April of 1974 we incorporated and at that time the name was changed to King Feed & Supply, Inc. September of 1990 King Feed Drive-Thru was opened in Bellefontaine, Ohio to meet the needs of the increasing demand for Dog Food, Cat Food, Horse Feed and non commercial livestock operations.
